ASTD is happy to provide on-site services to make your conference experience a pleasant one.
Located on the EXPO Floor, the ASTD Center Cafe will provide a central location to find out more about the latest ASTD offerings, author book signings, or to simply grab a snack as you tour the EXPO.
The Business Center offers a wide variety of products and services to meet your personal and business needs. They provide such services as: copying/printing, shipping/receiving, faxing and mailbox services. They are located within the convention center near the 7th Street entrance and are available to help with any business needs you may have.
The conference takes place at the Washington, DC Convention Center.

Cyber Centers will be available during the following hours for you to access the internet so you can keep in touch with your home or office. The cyber centers will be located on Level 2 on the L Street Bridge as well as in the EXPO.
Saturday 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sunday 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Monday 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.*
Tuesday 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.*
Wednesday 7:00 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.*
* Please Note: The cyber center in EXPO can only be accessed during EXPO hours only.

Food will be available for purchase from retail concessions throughout the convention center during the conference. Options include:
- Starbucks – Grand Lobby
- Go Gourmet – L Street Entrance
- Bagel Bin – East Registration
- Supreme Court, food court featuring American Grille, Wolfgang Puck Express,
and Foggy Bottom Grill – Upper Level off the L Street Bridge
- The Food Show – Exhibit Hall B
A secluded room is available during conference hours for prayer or meditation.
Complimentary shuttle service will be provided from most official conference hotels to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center beginning Saturday, May 30 (limited service in the morning and late afternoon only) and Sunday, May 31, through Wednesday, June 3 during official conference functions. Shuttle hours will be posted at the hotels and at the convention center.
Hotels within walking distance that will not be served by the shuttle include Renaissance Washington, Grand Hyatt, Embassy Suites Convention Center, Hampton Inn Convention Center, Henley Park, and Morrison Clark. All other hotels will be served by shuttle buses.
